CORE MUSIC AND THE ARTS
Administration

Holly Marino
Fusion Core Executive Director
Holly Marino has been involved in the drum corps activity for nearly her entire life, starting at the age of 10 on Long Island with St. Ignatius Girls. Over the years, she has participated both on the field and in administrative roles.
While the competitive aspect of drum corps is certainly thrilling, Holly believes that the life lessons gained from the activity are the most valuable. She states, "If we can change one person for the better, then regardless of the score, we win."
With that in mind, she is enthusiastic about the competitive future of the corps. She is dedicated to working with the administration to build a strong foundation and collaborate with the staff in the pursuit of excellence for all members.

Giustina Regan
Fusion Core Assistant Director
Giustina is in her final semester pursuing a graduate degree in Nonprofit Management at the University of Central Florida. She graduated in Spring 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work, along with minors in Music and Psychology. Throughout her time at UCF, she’s had the privilege of playing the alto saxophone in the Marching Knights, where she developed a deep appreciation for both music and teamwork.
Outside of academics, Guistina enjoys crafting, reading, and being immersed in music. She’s also a sister of Tau Beta Sigma - an honorary band sorority that is dedicated to serving the bands and empowering women in music.

Ralph Marino
Logistics Coordinator
Ralph started marching as a young teen in Los Federales, based out of Brooklyn, NY, so he could spend time with his dad, Angelo Marino and his uncle Tommy. This led to a lifelong drum corps journey.
Ralph went on to march the NY Skyliners Alumni followed by the field Corps. In 2004, Ralph became the Director of NY Skyliners for two seasons. In 2007, Ralph started Fusion Core, along with a Core group of drum corps friends and his wife, Holly.
Ralph moved to Florida in 2021 and was thrilled when the decision was made to move the Core in 2025. He’s excited to help the Core continue to grow in its journey South.

Nick Carlson
Business Manager
Nick marched his first season of drum corps with Fusion Core in 2015, after over a decade away from the marching arts activity. Since then, he's also been a member of the Bridgemen Alumni (2016), Highland Regiment (2017-2020), Caballeros Alumni (2019), Tri-Valley Brass Minicorps (2016-present) and Spark (2025-present), as well as performing in and arranging for local community wind ensembles and orchestras. He has been on the admin team for Fusion since 2022 as assistant director (2022-2023) and business manager (2024-present).
Outside of drum corps, Nick is a structural engineer at a small engineering firm in northern New Jersey, and an adjunct instructor of engineering physics at local community colleges.
