Marc Garside has been a percussion instructor and a show designer in the marching arts since 2002. He has worked with many scholastic and independent programs as a music and/or drill designer. These include the White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps, the Hawthorne Caballeros Drum and Bugle Corps, Williamsport High School, the Shikellamy High School, Danville High School, Central Dauphin East High School, Tyrone High School, the Penn State Indoor Drumline, the EPIC Summer Drumline, and the EPIC Cadets Jr. Independent Drumline, as well as many other high school programs.
Marc also serves as a judge for various competitive band circuits and is the instructor of the TOB All-Star Drumline that performs in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade. Marc has also performed as a freelance percussionist with the Bucknell University Symphony and various other ensembles when called upon. In 2013 Marc started a percussion academy called EPIC Percussion. Since then, EPIC has grown into an academy/ retailer and enrolls about 50 students from 4th grade to adults. They also provide customers and schools with percussion gear and expertise.
