Matthew is an accomplished music educator originally from Nebraska, now residing in Orlando, Florida. With a Bachelor’s degree in instrumental music education from Florida State University, he brings four years of experience teaching elementary music to young learners.

In addition to his teaching career, Matthew has a rich performance background. He marched baritone with the Boston Crusaders in 2016 and has taught music and visual arts for various high school groups, including Melbourne High School, Titusville High School, and Hagerty High School.

Currently, Matthew plays euphonium for the Central Florida Sounds of Freedom and is thrilled to join Fusion Core, where he is eager to share his extensive knowledge and experience with the brass section. Passionate about fostering a love for music, Matthew is dedicated to cultivating talent and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
