Visual Caption Head
Noreen is a visual designer, visual caption head, and marching clinician from Long Island, NY. Since 2005, Noreen has had the opportunity to work with several award winning high school programs throughout Long Island. (Hicksville 2005-2010, Sachem 2013- present, Farmingdale 2016-present, Clarke 2023-present).
She is currently the show designer and program coordinator for the Sachem Marching Band. Under her visual direction Sachem received multiple New York State Championship titles (2019, 2020,and 2022). She also lends a hand with marching clinics and mentoring throughout the year across Long Island.
Noreen marched mellophone for Jersey Surf (2004, 2005, & 2007) and in 2013, she marched Fusion Core. In 2018 she was a visual instructor for the Long Island Sunrisers Drum and Bugle Corps and visual caption head in 2021. For the 2023 season, Noreen is very excited to be back at Fusion Core and is looking forward to leading the team as this year's Visual Caption head.

Paul is an upcoming music educator that attends the Aaron Copland School of Music at CUNY Queens College. Paul is excited to be graduating in spring 2024 with a BA in Instrumental Music Education.
Paul is a visual and music instructor with the New York State Champions, Division Avenue Competitive Marching Band (2021-2023). He also teaches privately with a wide range of instrumental students through his local music store. Paul decided to expand upon his high school and DCA experiences by marching upper split lead trumpet at The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps (2022-2023 DCI Season).
Paul believes in the ability of the marching arts to develop individuals into strong leaders and collaborators. He is determined to help members reach their fullest potential through motivating them to achieve their personal goals. Paul is ecstatic to join the Fusion team and provide members with an enriching drum corps
Visual Tech: Low Brass
Olivia is thrilled to be joining the visual team at Fusion Core. Currently Olivia is in her third year at Stony Brook University pursuing a career in education. She is expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics with a minor in women’s and gender studies in May 2025.
Olivia expanded her 4 years of high school marching band and winter guard experience by marching with the Sunrisers Drum & Bugle Corps (2021) and 7th Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps (2022).
Outside of the marching arts, Olivia works with Student Life at Stony Brook University to regulate and administer events within the Campus Life Centers. Through collaboration and teamwork, she works to help create memorable experiences and a sense of belonging within every student who attends their events.
Olivia believes in the power of student-centered learning, and growing the confidence and leadership skills of those around her. Olivia wishes to help foster excellence and determination in a new generation of performers.
Judy is excited to join the team for the 2024 season!
Judy started marching in DCA in 2001 and had several great seasons with the Syracuse Brigadiers, Reading Buccaneers, and Fusion Core, winning 4 DCA Championships along the way.
Judy is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with degrees in Music Education and Music Therapy who has been singing, dancing and playing multiple instruments professionally or semi-professionally since she was a teen. She has taught everything from instrumental lessons to show choir (music AND choreo), as well as working in therapeutic settings with a wide variety of clients.
Judy is also a former all-league varsity gymnast and flag spinner, as well as a lifetime Girl Scout.
